M.Ed., BCBA, Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Jake is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a passion for understanding behavioral patterns, the functions of behaviors, and how they shape individual development and resilience. Born and raised in Daly City, California, Jake holds a Master’s degree in Education from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California Santa Cruz.

With 5 years of experience in Early Intensive Behavior Intervention in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as 1 year of providing services in the city-state of Singapore, Jake has honed his expertise in reducing behaviors of concern such as aggression, property destruction, eloping, and self-harm.

Jake incorporates treatment plans within his client’s network of caregivers—parents, educators, therapists—to ensure new skills and abilities are practiced and smoothly integrated into everyday experience. He has worked closely with families from diverse backgrounds, applying empirical-based methods to promote socially significant behaviors.
 
In his free time, Jake enjoys surfing, baking bread, and spending time outdoors with his family.
